Privacy Policy

Vigos, developed by WellCheckApp LLC, is a workout-tracking app built around an optional AI integration: with your permission, an AI you connect (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any other MCP-compatible AI) can read your workout data and create or update workouts on your behalf. This page explains what data that involves and how it's handled.

What's collected

Your workout library, notes, and history are stored locally on your device by default and are never sent anywhere unless you explicitly turn on sharing. Under Settings → Connect Your AI → "Share with your AI," you control four independent categories, each off by default:

• Workout Library — your saved workouts and their exercises.
• Equipment & Limitations — what equipment you have and any physical limitations you've noted.
• Body Stats — weight and body fat % entries you've logged.
• Workout History & Notes — completed-workout logs and any notes you've written.

Separately, "Let AI Remember" (AI Memory) lets a connected AI save a short text summary between conversations — also off by default.

The app also generates a random device identifier (256 bits of entropy, stored in your device's Keychain) to authenticate your phone to the server. It isn't tied to your name, Apple ID, or any other identity — it's a credential, not a personal identifier.

Vigos does not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone/camera data, or any advertising/analytics identifiers, and does not run third-party analytics or ad SDKs.

How data is stored and for how long

Enabled categories are sent to a server (a Cloudflare Worker) so your connected AI can read them on request. Retention differs by what the data actually is:

• Workouts an AI creates or updates sit in a queue only until your phone syncs and confirms it received them, then they're deleted from the server automatically — you don't need to do anything.
• Your shared categories (Workout Library, Equipment & Limitations, Body Stats, History) are kept on the server as long as their toggle is on, so the AI can read them at any time. Turning a toggle off removes that category from the server on the next sync, generally within moments.
• AI Memory notes persist until you tap "Clear AI's Memory" — turning the toggle off pauses the AI's ability to read or write them, but does not delete what's already saved. Clearing them does.

You can permanently delete everything the server holds for your device at any time — Settings → Connect Your AI → "Delete All My Data." This immediately wipes your shared context and AI Memory notes from the server and turns sharing back off. It does not un-pair your AI connection; if you want to stop an AI from being able to connect at all, disconnect it from that AI platform's own connector settings.

Who can see it

Only an AI you've explicitly paired with your device (via the pairing code flow in Settings) can read data you've chosen to share, and only for the categories you've enabled. Vigos has no other users, accounts, or admin access to your data beyond the server infrastructure necessary to run the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties except the AI platform you yourself choose to connect. Once an AI platform (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI) receives data through your connection, that platform's own privacy policy governs what happens to it from there — that's outside Vigos's control, since you're the one authorizing that connection.

Security

All communication with the server happens over HTTPS. Your device is authenticated with a bearer token; there is no password to leak. Server-side storage lives on Cloudflare's infrastructure.

Children's privacy

Vigos is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what's collected or how it's used, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the AI-sharing features after a change means you accept the update.
